About the OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator to join the team at ASC. Reporting to the Infrastructure and Operations Manager, you will be responsible for effective design, installation, configuration, operation, security and maintenance of all hardware and software systems utilised by ASC. You will play an integral role in managing ASC's cybersecurity risks and will work closely with Security and other IT teams. This role is full-time on-site.
Responsibilities:Design, implement and maintain corporate Windows servers to ensure security, performance and capacity management.Design, implement and maintain ASC's Virtual Infrastructure (VMWare and Hyper-V) at both the hypervisor and guest server level.Perform backup administration duties to ensure the integrity of ASC data.Perform primary Microsoft Active Directory support and administration.Assist in the design of technical solutions for new or continuous improvement activities.Ensure the monitoring and maintenance of the infrastructure devices, infrastructure technologies, data centre and perimeter security and identify opportunities and insights from logging information.Develop controls defending against a dynamic threat environment.Keep current on industry trends and or changes to the threat landscape.About YouBachelor degree or equivalent experience. Appropriate industry recognised certifications will be viewed favourably.Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar role, supporting production Microsoft domains, virtualisation platforms and storage environments.Experience in maintaining Infrastructure systems and platforms within a framework governed by the PSPF, ISO 20001, ISM or NIST.Experience with Microsoft Server technologies, storage technologies, virtualisation platforms, VM Ware, O365, Microsoft Azure and electronic communications is required.Problem solving skills, ability to think outside the square and innovate.Strong skills in written and verbal communication, presentation, organisation and time management.EligibilityThis role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to an NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
