Course Details: 22 and 23rd March- Port Macquarie Olympic Pool 8am- 5pm What’s in it for you? Paid Training – Earn a Level 1 pay rate under the Fitness Award while completing part of your required training hours. Enrol in a Swim Teacher training course with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), including online modules and a one-day face-to-face session. Complete 25 hours of shadow teaching (Rainbow Club will pay for up to 18 hours, with the remaining 10 hours required in a mainstream setting-unpaid). Once qualified, obtain an NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC) and a Working With Children Check (WWCC) if over 18. If you’re on a visa, it must allow work for at least one year (Student Visa holders (Subclass 500) are ineligible). Rainbow Club Australia is a charity that helps children with a disability learn to swim and provides young adults with aqua exercise classes. We have 70 clubs across NSW, Victoria, ACT and QLD and have plans to increase our footprint to meet the increasing demand for membership. We employ 400 swimming teachers on a casual basis to provide personalised swimming lessons and aqua exercises to children and young adults with a disability.
