This role is ideal for an HSE and Injury Management practitioner experienced in the healthcare industry and seeking career advancement. You'll work as part of the Serco Defence Business Unit Team, supporting AHSC management and front-line teams to ensure operational success through the implementation of health, safety, and injury management programs.As a Safety & Injury Services Specialist, you'll make a positive impact by:Supporting 2,000 nationally dispersed colleagues to work safely and recover quickly when the worst happens.Partnering with Operations to provide advice, training, consultation, monitoring, and governance on safety, wellbeing, and injury management.Ensuring all relevant Safety and Injury Management legislation, policies, and procedures are effectively implemented.Delivering safe working procedures, injury management, and Return to Work guidance across the AHSC Leadership team's risk profile.Leading site-based assurance activities, including audits, inspections, and training to build frontline safety capability.Representing the contract with clients and customers, including external providers such as insurers and regulators.To be successful in this role you'll have:Australian citizenship with eligibility to obtain a Defence Security Clearance.Experience in injury and safety management with a dispersed workforce.Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.Current Driver's Licence and the ability to travel interstate as needed.Capacity to work from the office with up to 80% national travel.Certificate IV in Allied Health/HSE (Minimum).Relevant Return to Work Coordinator Accreditation.Are you ready to do important work that really matters?At Serco, we bring together the right people, the right technology, and the right partners to create impactful solutions that address some of the world's most urgent and complex challenges.We focus on serving governments all over the globe.
