Officials from the OIA work across government on significant policy proposals to ensure they are accompanied by quality analysis of the potential impacts.Key responsibilities include:Leading a team to exercise sound judgement in determining when to trigger OIA's involvement in the development of a proposal.Using strong negotiation and expert policy analysis skills to support agencies to understand and undertake robust impact analysis.Engaging and working productively with departments, agencies and regulators to improve policy design.Representing the OIA with counterparts across Australia and internationally.What you will bring:To be successful you need to be able to work in a collaborative team responding to tight time frames.
