Join this Global highly respected Investment Bank as it grows its local Risk capability as the Corporate Senior Credit Analyst / Counterparty Risk Manager. High $ value Corporate lending / Line 2 risk reporting directly to CRO. You'll be in charge of a portfolio of corporate clients in the Sydney Branch. Key Responsibilities - Provide high quality credit analysis and risk reports and opinions for corporate clients that operate in various sectors of the economy for risks originated and booked in the Sydney Branch. Ensure a smooth and well-managed credit process for one-off credit requests and annual reviews as a key point of reference in Australia. Monitor and anticipate the operating performance and credit risk profile of clients as well as sector trends in Australia and globally, assess adverse impacts if any, and take pre-emptive actions. Extensive use of Credit Risk tools such as Debtwire, Dow Jones / Factiva, Rating Agencies, News providers. Follow up and adhere to the bank's norms and procedures on credit risk related matters as well as country and credit risk management strategies. Keep local governance updated in alignment with regulator's requirements. Assist the CRO with annual portfolio reviews, inquiries from the regulator and auditors, and preparation of credit risk related information in Australia. Engage and consult with Front Office, Business Lines, Coverage teams, and international Risk counterparts. You! - At least 8 years of experience in corporate credit analysis at an International Corporate and Investment Bank. Extensive market knowledge. Analytical mind. Experience in writing credit analysis of corporate clients (blue chips and mid/small sized mid-caps). Financial modelling. Sound written and oral communication skills in English. Solid organizational skills (ability to manage priorities / meet deadlines). Decision making skills. Teamwork. Master's Degree in Business or Finance. Mastery of English. Any of the below additional skills a plus: GARP / FRM / CFA. Credit analysis, ratings. Superior communication skills to liaise with regional network and head office.
