Job Description:
The group finance function of our client is investing in an exciting transformation program to support the business in its next phase of growth. The initial focus will be on supporting this major project with process standardisation, automation, and improvement. The role will continue in a management capacity within the finance function to oversee the following responsibilities:
* Team Leadership and Development: Lead and develop a high-performing finance team.
* Finance Change Initiatives: Assist in the implementation of finance change initiatives, engaging with various stakeholders to ensure a successful outcome.
* Accounting Processes: Manage accounting processes to deliver timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with accounting standards.
* Data Integrity: Contribute to the integrity of master data by implementing controls for data quality and accessibility.
* Cash Flow Forecasting: Manage cash flow forecasting and drive continuous improvement in cash flow production.
* Trust Accounting: Oversee trust accounting activities.
* Policy Recommendations: Recommend policy changes to enhance financial performance.
* KPIs and Operational Activities: Measure and report on Business Services KPIs and operational activities, identifying opportunities for improvement.

* Financial Reporting: Extensive experience producing financial reports to Australian Accounting Standards.
