We are seeking experienced Disability Support Workers (female) as per client/family choice for immediate start to provide in-home care, supporting SIL clients, conducting day care activities, and performing community participation for NDIS participants in Whyalla & Port Augusta. Experience in SIL & Community Participation will be prioritized for interview and selection. We have certain highly challenged clients as well requiring experienced and highly professional support workers. Your role will include but is not limited to:
Daily scheduling and allocations of clients through the deployment pipeline, creating a positive client experience, and adhering to NDIS compliance requirements.
Firm understanding of the NDIS Code of Conduct, Incident Management, and Quality and Safeguards practice standards;
Handling client issues to ensure they are managed in a timely and professional manner.
Perform direct care duties for individual participants as specified in the Personal Care Profile including (but not limited to): showering/bathing, dressing/grooming, toileting, preparing meals, assisting participants to eat their meal, providing participants with additional support where required (such as gastronomy feeding where appropriate training has been provided).
Carry out as instructed and/or designated – and demonstrate initiative – tasks and activities aimed at meeting the participants' personal/living community needs, team objectives, and/or program goals.
Use phone application to log in and log out from assigned shifts. Leave case notes after shifts.
Must be available for regular morning, afternoon, evening, and passive/active overnight shifts across a 7-day roster.
To be successful for this position as Disability Support Worker, we require:

* NDIS Worker Screening
* Certificate 3 or above in Individual Support (or equivalent)
* Current Working with Children Check
* Current First Aid Certificate
* Full Australian Driver’s License Preferred
