Role
Successful applicant may be required to work at either the Sunbury Campus (Primary) or the Bullengarook Campus (Secondary). Start and finish times can be flexible and discussed upon appointment. The Speech Pathologist will be part of the Therapy Services Team (Occupational Therapist, Music Therapist, and Allied Health Assistants) to meet the diverse needs of students across both campuses. Direct service delivery may be provided on a one-to-one basis for high needs students or to small groups of students with similar needs. More often, direct services are supervised and monitored programs managed by school support staff and teaching staff, with regular hands-on support, input and guidance from Consultant Therapists.
In summary, the successful applicant will need to be able to:
* Plan and develop the speech pathology provision in the school as part of the whole school provision of therapy services to students with moderate and multiple disabilities.
* Evaluate the impact of the speech pathology provision, both in terms of the quality of impact on the individual student and the overall effectiveness of the resource and make recommendations from the findings.

* Manage the Speech Pathology Budget and the ordering and distribution of student resources.
