An innovative Engineering Consultancy that boast a stellar reputation in the industry built over 30 years of servicing the Structural and Civil market. This firm has grown significantly over the last few years and continue to grow from strength to strength, employing highly skilled engineers to elevate the overall team. They are known for working on innovative projects, working closely with architects to deliver aesthetic structures within the Residential, Commercial, Healthcare, Education and Community sectors.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
As an experienced Civil Engineer, you will leverage your knowledge and proven skillset in drainage, on site detention tank, rainwater, pavement, water quality and urban design for the Residential, Commercial, Healthcare, Education and Community sectors. Being a Senior figure in the business, you will mentor and guide Junior Engineers and assist with their development. This role will give you fulfillment as you will be involved in the strategic growth of not only the business but also individuals.
DUTIES.
4. Produce stormwater, drainage, OSD, water quality and water sensitive urban design
5. Attend site inspections, project meetings and design reviews
6. Utilize DRAINS, HEC-RAS, TUFLOW, MUSIC and Civil 3D on a daily basis
7. Mentor, guide and train Junior Engineers
8. Liaise with all relevant stakeholders to achieve project objectives
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
9. Tertiary Degree in Engineering
10. CPEng or in the process is highly advantageous
11. Strong verbal and written communication skills for team and client liaising
12. Experience with Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, TUFLOW, DRAIN, MUSIC and AutoCAD
13. 5+ years’ experience highly regarded
