Manage and oversee the development, implementation and operation of a range of NFAEP enterprise systems to ensure stakeholder requirements are met and to deliver high-quality, innovative systems and applications that support the achievement of the Programs goals and strategy. Lead and manage a team to build and enhance team capabilities and performance and to deliver business priorities and commitments within agreed timeframes, quality standards and budgets. Provide specialist, expert strategic advice and recommendations to key stakeholders on business system development to support informed decision making, maximise efficiencies and deliver optimal technology solutions and outcomes. Develop, implement and maintain system and project management protocols in consultation with a range of internal stakeholders and the Information and Technology Partners, to optimise system performance and reliability and to ensure compliance with the Departments ICT Standards, protocols policies, and guidelines. Establish, build and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate effective communication, negotiation and issues management across all aspects of service delivery. Manage, review and evaluate the implementation of change management projects and activities including assessment of impacts and the provision of communication and training to facilitate improved stakeholder outcomes and to deliver integrated technology and system solutions that meet current and future business priorities. Manage the development and implementation of a system interface framework to provide for a consistent and controlled exchange of data between systems. Provide high quality and accurate advice for the preparation of draft responses to reviews and technical briefs, including information requests in relation to the NFAEP data to facilitate timely and professional communications. Manage and balance competing demands and priorities while meeting tight timeframes for the introduction and rollout of new systems, upgrades and enhancements. Highly desirable qualifications, skills and/or experience Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or Computer Science and/or demonstrated equivalent professional experience in the management and implementation of ICT systems. ITILv4 certification, PrInCE2 project management, MSP. An understanding of the Fire Ant Management System (FAMS), Forage, Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI reporting tools. Why join the department?
