Your next opportunity: Due to continued growth across our business, we now have a fantastic opportunity available for an experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team in Deer Park, VIC 3023. This role will see you responsible for the planning and execution of maintenance of fixed and mobile assets at Deer Park, optimising the performance of plant and equipment whilst ensuring compliance to safety standards and adherence to Boral's OH&S, Environmental and Quality Standards and in line with budget/cost expectations. Your day will involve: Maintain, implement and monitor; safety systems, maintenance systems and projects associated with Deer Park Quarry – this includes fixed plant and equipment, mobile plant and equipment, and site infrastructure. Plan, schedule and supervise maintenance activities of employees and contractors Monitor and control inspection / maintenance schedules to ensure compliance to business and legislative requirements Review contractors’ Safety Management Plans (SMP) and high risk permits as required Review, develop, authorise and implement Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) as required Ensure SOPs are developed, reviewed, deployed, understood and adhered to by the team Provide guidance and leadership for employees and contractors Plan, implement and monitor the maintenance plan and budget Assist in projects on site as required Ensure all maintenance activities comply with Boral’s minimum standards Plan, review and monitor parts / critical spares Manage maintenance personnel Ensure the maintenance plan and production plan are aligned Ensure communications with the central Asset and Maintenance team are maintained What are we looking for? Trade qualifications (preferred) Previous quarrying / mining / materials handling experience required Experience in a supervisory / management role Experience with maintenance management systems e.g. eAM, maximo or similar Experience with crushing and screening equipment and heavy mobile equipment Excellent communication skills Planning and scheduling skills Proven budgeting and cost control skills What’s on offer?
