The Client:
A specialised town planning practice offering expert advice and innovative solutions for urban and regional planning. We have a strong track record in securing approvals for diverse projects, leading multi-disciplinary teams, and collaborating with industry professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage town planning projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
* Prepare planning reports and studies, project proposals, and cost estimates.
* Mentor and supervise junior planners, ensuring technical accuracy and quality standards.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
* Actively pursue new business opportunities and assist in developing proposals.
* Coordinate project resources, manage budgets, and monitor project timelines.
* Provide technical input on complex planning issues and resolve any project challenges.
Selection Criteria:
* Tertiary qualification in Town Planning or related field.
* Ideally 4+ years of experience in town planning and project management.
* Strong knowledge of statutory and strategic planning, and related legislation.
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and resources.
* Excellent communication, client liaison, and business development skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
