We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Mechanical (Project) Engineer to join and help lead our Adelaide Mechanical/Mining team.

GPA is seeking candidates with 5 through to 10 years of relevant experience, ideally having experience delivering minerals processing type projects.
Key Duties:
* Support project delivery of GPA's Mechanical Team – specifically the Minerals Processing portfolio.
* Application of relevant Standards to engineering design.
* Specific technical competencies and developing solutions for piping and facilities designs.
* Estimating and supporting bids.
* Management of own priorities and meeting project requirements.
* Adherence to our HSE and quality systems.
Desired Skills and Experience:
* Industry Experience in Mining & Mineral Processing.
* Technical experience, ideally working in a consulting environment – delivering small brownfields projects.
* Outgoing – client facing, project engineer experience with a desire to build long term – lasting relationships with clients.
* Strong communication skills – working with multi-discipline teams, supporting GPA's younger mechanical engineers and working directly with Client PM's and stakeholders.
* Working knowledge of local mining processing plants is highly desired.
* Ability to manage own workload across multiple projects.
* Knowledge of relevant codes, standards and specification of Mechanical piping/equipment.
* Experience in technical report writing, cost estimating and proposal writing.
* Australian recognised Mechanical Engineering degree is essential.
