**Essential Position Responsibilities**:

**Responsibility**:Lead the collation and interpretation of greenhouse gas inventories in addition to waste, energy, and resource consumption data** **(**_40% of time spent_**)**

- **In partnership with **Head of Sustainability, and **Environment, Procurement, Operations, and Finance** teams**, accurately complete year-end energy and carbon accounts and key metrics for internal/external reporting and document current processes, methodology, and data owners. This includes working closely with **Sustainability, **Environment and Procurement **functions** to ensure data received is complete and accurate, including establishing internal review processes with **Sustainability, **Environment and Procurement. Provide data to Investor Relations** and Sustainability** in required formats for external reporting, including Sustainability Report**

- **Advise and support the business and relevant stakeholders on current and evolving carbon accounting practices relevant to Boral's climate and energy strategies. Provide advice to the business and relevant stakeholders on changes to the relevant reporting frameworks.**

**Responsibility: Lead the accurate preparation and successful assurance of annual energy and carbon reporting for **National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting Scheme (NGERS)**, Corporate Emissions Reduction Transparency Report (CERT), Australian Bureau of **Statistics (ABS) reports** and the **Sustainability Report - including data collection, verification, and consolidation** (**_30% of time spent_**)**

- **Ensure audit documentation (SOP, Basis of Preparation) of energy and carbon accounts including NGERS process is prepared prior to commencement of third-party assurance and manage timely resolution of any requests for further information from Assurers to data owners**.**
