About The RoleAs the Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) you will be responsible for providing expert clinical advice to patients, carers and other health care professionals within a defined specialty through the delivery of specialist consultant service which:
Develops, implements and evaluates care management plans for patients with complex health needsProvides leadership in the ongoing development of clinical practiceInitiates and utilises findings of research in the provision of clinical servicesContributes to the development and delivery of specialty related education programsParticipates in formal processes for the strategic and operational planning for the clinical serviceFor more information, please view the Position Description.
Ideal CandidateCurrent registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA)7 years full-time equivalent post-registration experience, with at least 5 years in the specialty fieldPostgraduate qualifications relevant to the specialty or equivalent experienceExcellent leadership skills, communication skills including oral and interpersonalProven experience in consulting, reviewing, and developing policies and procedures in the specialtyBenefits and perks!
