We’re looking for an Associate Nurse Unit Manager to join our Country Health Connect team in Naracoorte. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills while supporting the delivery of high-quality care and leading a dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide proficient, person-centred nursing/midwifery care and case management.
* Monitor patient care plans, ensuring positive outcomes.
* Assist the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager with staffing, performance management, and rostering.
* Oversee the delivery of nursing care within the unit and support team collaboration.
* Lead by example, ensuring continuity and consistency in care provision.
* Engage in clinical teaching, professional development, and research activities.
What We're Looking For:
* Current registration as a Nurse or Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
* At least 3 years of post-registration experience or classification as a Clinical Nurse/Midwife.
* Strong leadership skills and experience in supervising and mentoring staff.
* Effective communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities.
* Experience in healthcare administration and using computer software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel).
* A commitment to continuous learning and improving healthcare delivery.
