Our client is a well-known not-for-profit organisation. They are a local health insurance specialist who are looking for a Risk and Compliance Lead to join their team.
Main responsibilities are:
* Provide advice and support in relation to risk management, compliance, and legal matters
* Driving projects and actions to ensure deadlines are met
* Reviewing and developing policies and procedures
* Monitoring and keeping up to date with regulatory changes
* Compliance monitoring activities
* Compliance plans and obligations
* Advise on Risk issues in relation to product initiatives and reviews
* Assist with incident management systems
* Work across the 8 business units engaging with executives to provide support where needed
The ideal candidate will have:
* 3-6+ years Risk Management within financial services
* Thorough knowledge of regulations, controls, and have confidence over the operations of the business
* Strong internal and external stakeholder management experience
* Strong written and verbal communications skills
* General knowledge of commercial practicalities and negotiate mutually acceptable solutions.
* Tertiary qualifications relevant to Risk Management, Compliance or Law
