BenefitsThrive in a supportive, team focused environmentA fun and supportive working environmentSalary packaging plus meals and entertainment allowance availableAnnual Leave (5 weeks)Learning and development opportunitiesRewarding career pathways with opportunities for further growthKirinari Community Services have an exciting opportunity for a team member to undertake a full-time role as Roster Coordinator within our Community Department.The role is full-time, 76 hours per fortnight, between 7am-5pm - Monday - Friday rotating roster flexibility may be considered.About YouPrevious experience in scheduling or rosteringTech-savvy with the ability to learn systems quicklyAbility to understand and interpret multiple EA’s or modern awardsDemonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced / high-pressure environment with set deadlines and competing prioritiesStrong verbal and written communication skillsBe able to work both independently and as part of a teamCritical thinker with an eye for detailAbout The RoleAdminister all staff rosters that enable an effective balance to be achieved between optimising staffing efficiency, maximising staff satisfaction and consideration of customer choiceEnsure appropriate and accurate data entry, manage customer data and report on system discrepanciesEnsure short notice absences are responded to in a timely and cost-effective mannerIdentify unplanned changes to rosters and flag patterns to Rostering Coordinator Team Leader and Community Services Team LeaderEnsure the roster is complete and available to staff in a timely manner that meets the industrial requirements through the Kirinari Community Services Enterprise AgreementsEnsure appropriate compatibility of staff with customers inclusive of required training, qualifications and Working with Children ChecksProcess support workers timesheets in a timely mannerRegularly review staff allocation to identify and recommend contract variances, house allocations and any issuesUndertake administrative activities related to managing the roster, including but not limited to inputting and updating staff details, availability preferences and processing leaveLiaise regularly with the HR Team to discuss staffing capacity, recruitment and any issues that affect service deliveryLiaise regularly with the Senior Rostering Coordinator to discuss customer and support worker issuesEffectively use the implemented technology (Procura, Office 365) and identify further training or support requiredManage the respective coordinator inbox to ensure quick responses to staff, hiring managers and other departments ensuring tasks are actioned/allocated within 24 hoursApplications close Friday 14th February 2025.Due to the high volume of applications, interviews may commence before the closing date.You must have the right to live and work in Australia.Kirinari embrace Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) that promotes a diverse workforce and encourage applications from First Nations & Torres Strait Islander Peoples and applicants from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds.
