Our Medical Clinic in Adelaide is seeking a motivated, proactive, experienced medical receptionist to join our small, friendly team on a casual basis to provide excellent support to our patients.
We are looking for a part-time candidate to join our clinic.
Job tasks and responsibilities:
1. To greet patients and other callers at the Practice in a courteous and efficient manner.
2. To answer the telephone promptly and courteously.
3. Check in for appointment – Collecting referral and demographic details.
4. Check out post consultation which can involve booking review appointments and procedures.
5. Liaising with the consultant specialists and other departments to facilitate patient care.
6. Communication with other health care providers to facilitate patient care.
7. Scheduling appointments for new and existing patients.
8. Responding to all correspondence through faxes, emails, and by phone.
9. Data entry and experience with accounts receivable.
10. To exercise confidentiality in regard to patient care and all aspects of the practice.
11. High level of computer proficiency with attention to detail and accuracy in office, email.
12. Maintain reception area in a tidy and welcoming manner.
