Congress are looking for a Full-Time Child Health Nurse to join their Child Health & Engagement team. The Child Health & Engagement Section provides integrated, holistic and coordinated services for Aboriginal children aged 0-5years, and their families to ensure they are healthy and well prepared for school. The Child Health Nurses work with a multidisciplinary team of health professionals to provide evidence-based child health services to children including child health assessments, immunisations and developmental screening to give our babies and children the best start in life. Is the role right for you? Current AHPRA registration with a minimum of five years clinical practice. Expert knowledge of the NT vaccination schedule in relation to childhood immunisations, accredited to provide immunisation or willingness to undertake accreditation. Working knowledge of Child Health and an understanding of current practices, theories and values. Knowledge of child development and how it relates to Aboriginal children in Central Australia.
