What’s the role?
The GP role delivers best-practice primary health care that not only provides access and equity, but also coordinates health care management and integration with other external providers where necessary, with the result being improved quality of life and well-being.
12. Being the first point of contact in matters of personal health
13. Coordinating the care of patients and referring patients to other specialists
14. Caring for patients over a period of their lifetime
15. Providing advice and education on health care
16. Performing legal processes such as certification of documents or provision of reports in relation to motor transport or work accidents
Before you apply, we need you to have:
17. Current specialist or general registration with the Medical Board of Australia
18. 2-5 years Australian experience in general practice, with unrestricted working rights
19. Previous general practice experience
