Your new role
Assisting Electricians
Perform air conditioner repairs and maintenance tasks
Utilise learning skills to follow guidance from qualified tradespersons and supervisors, executing tasks in line with company standards, procedures, and Company Policy
Engage in Occupational Health and Safety training, adhere to Company Policy and procedures, and consult with supervisors on any safety concerns before starting tasks
Maintain customer relations according to company policy and procedures to reduce customer complaints, site work issues, and documentation errors
Perform other duties as reasonably assigned
What you'll need to succeed
First aid certificate - desirable
Working at heights ticket - desirable
White card - mandatory
Previous trades assistant or labouring experience preferred
Ability to pass medical and D&A screen
Driver's licence and reliable transport
Ability to pass police check and obtain blue card
What you'll get in return
If you are successful in this position, you will secure a long-term role assisting electricians. Your primary responsibilities will include performing maintenance and repair tasks on air conditioners throughout the central west region. You will work in state government buildings such as schools, hospitals, and housing. This role is ideal for someone eager to enhance their skills, with the potential to be offered an apprenticeship after 12 months.
