Key Responsibilities:
1. Providing safe, evidence-based nursing care to patients
2. Delivering complex, multidisciplinary care tailored to individual patient needs
3. Collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to support optimal patient outcomes
4. Exemplifying and promoting safe practice standards
5. Supervising, directing, and supporting nursing team members
6. Educating and supporting patients and their families in health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life care
7. Guiding and supervising Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) in patient care delivery
Essential Criteria:
8. Valid authorization to work in Australia
9. Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent qualification
10. Unrestricted current registration with AHPRA
11. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in acute ICU, HDU, or CCU settings
12. Post Graduate Certificate in ICU/CCU (or currently pursuing) is highly desirable
13. Demonstrated clinical expertise within an ICU environment in a similar care setting
14. Strong commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement
15. Adherence to ACQSHC National Standards
16. Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively within a high-performing team
17. Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proactive, motivated, and customer-focused approach
