I am currently recruiting for a permanent, full-time Business Manager position for a reputable surgery with branches in the Gold Coast and northern NSW.
This clinic has experienced several years of growth, and they are now looking to expand their leadership team with a dedicated Business Manager. This clinic is seeking a commercial, resilient, and highly capable leader to take charge and lead with confidence. The ideal candidate must possess exceptional leadership, emotional intelligence, problem-solving, and people-management skills.
Your new role
* HR management -staff hiring, employment contracts, contract and award compliance, performance reviews and management, rostering, timesheet and leave approvals, staff training, staff meetings and social functions,
* Financial management
o Management and reconciliation of daily banking, debtors and billing service reports to ensure accuracy and balancing,
o Profit & Loss/expense management, including identifying trends, reporting and investigating any differences and implementing action plans to ensure cost efficiencies;
* Associate liaison-Management of Associate Doctors, including calculation of service fees, managing debtors and financial reporting, ensuring appropriate communication and compliance for the business
* Clinic maintenance including IT, air-con, medical fridge, gardens, security and general building maintenance and cleaning
* Management of the practice management system (VIP)
* Providing clinical support based on ability - including auto-refracting, OCT and vision field-testing on patients
What you'll need to succeed
Communication
Exceptional communication skills with patients and internal staff to ensure excellent interaction, contributing to their care and customer service experience.
Teamwork
Ability to work within a team of doctors, administrative and clinical staff where roles will overlap.
Problem-solving
Ability to identify a potential problem/risk and solution before it occurs, to show flexibility and the ability to show initiative to propose better ways of performing tasks with the objectives of the practice in mind.
Self-management
Ability to time manage on an individual basis as well as contribute to the time management of the overall clinic to a very high level and the ability to work autonomously without direct supervision.
