As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Facilities Manager to join our AWESOME Workplace Experience team. You will report directly into our Director of Workplace Experience & Community.
You’ll successfully lead all areas of facilities practices including contractor management, repairs & maintenance, safety, security, budgets, sustainability and workplace experience. Engaging in project work, crafting plans and streamlining processes is where you excel. You’re adept at operational development that enhances efficiency and compliance. Along with the Workplace Experience team, you’ll contribute to shaping a welcoming environment and a stellar customer experience for our team and visitors alike.
How You Will Spend Your Time
1. Become a champion of our product, SafetyCulture as the primary operations tool
2. Manage the annual Facilities Management budget including approving spend, forecasting, applying for funding
3. Leading minor capital works projects to enhance the workplace
4. Oversee all scheduled maintenance relating to hard and soft services
5. Respond to, and investigate, site issues
6. Manage contractor partnerships including negotiating contracts, managing performance and ensuring SLA’s are upheld to a high level
7. Conduct regular workplace inspections and audits to ensure presentation, functionality and safety is upheld
8. Manage building areas including working floors, gym, bars, recreational spaces, plant rooms and secure areas to ensure daily readiness and compliance
9. Manage concierge staff to ensure a warm and inviting guest experience
10. Manage commercial kitchen environment, food safety, equipment, compliance etc
11. Maintain strong relationships and communication with internal leaders, external stakeholders, contractors and vendors
12. Drive sustainability initiatives
13. Lead team initiatives to create best in class workplace experience
