The Therapeutic Specialist plays a pivotal clinical leadership role within our team, providing expert consultation and guidance.
Key responsibilities include delivering primary and secondary therapeutic support for children and young people in out-of-home care.
This role requires effective management of the complex systems of support surrounding the young person.
Requirements
* Appropriate tertiary qualifications
* Experience in completing assessments for children and young people and developing comprehensive written reports or care plans
* A well-developed understanding of Attachment and Trauma Theories, including their relationship to child abuse and neglect, social, emotional, and cognitive disabilities
* Practice knowledge relevant to working with traumatised and vulnerable children, young people, and families
This position is Level 6 under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010. Estimated Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per annum
