About the Role
As a Product Owner - Website Optimisation in our Consumer Distribution team, you will be instrumental in enabling and inspiring a multi-disciplinary team ('Digital Practice’) to pursue its targets, by guiding them on 'what' work should be completed. The Website Product Owner constantly prioritises tasks and the Digital Practice’s backlog with the customer at the heart of their decision making. The role also ensures that the work is strategically aligned to the business goals and engages with other Website Product Owners to align and manage interdependencies.
Whilst this role is not a people manager, it is a key leadership role, galvanising the Digital Practice around a vision and supporting them to successfully deliver customer value at pace.

What will your day look like?
As a Product Owner - Website Optimisation, you will :
1. Develop a deep understanding of customer needs to ensure customer-centric delivery.
2. Drive digital targets and enhance website conversion rates.
3. Analyse the full customer journey using data and research to identify pain points and opportunities.
4. Prioritize, scope, and schedule digital projects and features effectively.
5. Collaborate with Product, Compliance, and Legal teams to maintain up-to-date digital content and manage risks appropriately.
6. Find efficiencies in ways of working with internal teams to address customer pain points and harness opportunities.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following :
1. Prior experience in product ownership, website optimisation or a similar field.
2. Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels within an organisation, driving alignment and successful outcomes.
3. Experience in managing successful, performance-based, conversion rate optimisation (CRO) programs to improve website performance.
4. Expertise in online customer experience and information design, with a focus on enhancing user journeys and digital experiences.
5. Proficiency in using online analytics / intelligence tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics) to inform decision-making and drive website improvements.
6. Familiarity with online project management software like JIRA and Confluence.
