Director/Manager and other staff members within the team including the project officer and research staff.The Research Administrative Officer has the overall day-to-day management responsibility in supporting the research unit and is responsible for the implementation of administrative processes necessary for smooth running of the office.Importantly, this position will act as a first point of contact for senior members of the South Western Sydney Local Health District, universities, plus a range of contacts at all levels from all research stakeholders and hospital staff liaising with the medical team.The Research Administrative Officer is required to assist in the development of effective and efficient administrative systems that will be necessary as the research unit grows.How to prioritise work and complete tasks within tight timeframes.Demonstrated high level written communication skills, preferably with previous experience in the preparation of research grant applications
