Business Account Manager, General NutritionBring your passion for the agriculture industry and significantly contribute to the growth and stability of this well-known and respected family-owned operation.With sites across regional Victoria, and customers spread across Victoria, South Australia and NSW, we are currently on the search to appoint an experienced Business Manager, Group Nutrition.With the ability to be located across multiple sites in Regional Victoria, or even at head office in Melbourne, you will be responsible for proactively retaining and increasing our existing customer base to drive growth in our ruminant segment.Specifically, this includes sales and account management, advising customers on relevant feed and nutrition programs as well providing in-depth and technical nutritional advice and education to team members and customers.Summary of key accountabilities Creation of a new sales plan (in conjunction with the General Manager Sales) with the ultimate aim of increased sales volumeIdentification of new business development opportunities, including new markets and leadsEngage & communicate with all stakeholders in the business, including between sites & regionsEngage in direct customer contact through customer visits, farm walks and pricing discussionsMonthly reportingBudgeting & forecastingProvide advice to customers on feed programsAddress customer complaints within company guidelinesMonitor and co-ordinate feed testingProvide a high level of technical service and advice to customersAttend relevant field days and industry-related eventsKeep abreast of market trends and conditions and related productsAssist in education of internal sales and nutrition staffTake responsibility for learning resources related to products and nutritionCompletion of farm safety assessments prior to delivery of productWhat you will bring to this role: Demonstrated experience with a proven track record in agricultural sales, account management and business development or as a ruminant nutritionist.Solid understanding of the sales cycle and processHigh energy, enthusiasm and the drive to succeedExceptional relationship building skillsExcellent time management and negotiation skillsWillingness to be a part of the broader teamRelevant tertiary qualifications in nutrition or agribusiness would be highly regardedReporting to the General Manager Sales, you will be a strong communicator with proven leadership and organisational skills, who takes pride in supplying your customers with a consistently high standard of trusted product.Your "can-do" attitude, knowledge and on-site presence will ensure your success.If you enjoy working with your customers, have a passion for all things ag, as well as experience in a nutritional capacity apply now.Send across your CV and cover letter using the "Apply now" function.Contact Megan Dunlop on 0498 346 646 for any queries. #J-18808-Ljbffr
