The Position
Reporting to the GM of Operations locally and an interstate Finance Manager, you will oversee cost accounting functions across manufacturing sites in Victoria & WA, including all manufacturing accounting and relevant reporting to HO. You will provide a crucial link between finance and operations, business partnering to provide meaningful insights and cost reporting to add value and improve performance. You will provide up to date product costs, commercial analysis and financial support to operational teams whilst also having the ability to get involved in a system implementation project as well.

Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure BOM’s and routings are accurately reflected
2. Analysis and financial reporting on a regular basis
3. Analyse data and prepare meaningful commercial reports to site operations management and head office corporate
4. Review and investigate any discrepancies around costing
5. Operational variance analysis including labour, variable, fixed and material cost
6. Assist operations to identify gaps to contribute towards effective production strategies and improve performance
7. Analyse and take corrective action where needed on all product cost lines and pricing models
8. Ad hoc project related work, assist across a system implementation
Skills and Experience
9. Strong FMCG / manufacturing industry experience
10. CA/CPA or equivalent qualification
11. Business partnering and strong stakeholder engagement skills
