We are looking for an experienced Senior Corporate Lawyer to join our dynamic team based at our Head Office in Port Adelaide.

Role Overview
The Senior Corporate Lawyer manages a broad range of legal and regulatory compliance matters pertaining to the operations of the Flinders Port Holdings Group. This supports the Group's strategy and commercial objectives and ensures legal and regulatory compliance as well as appropriate management of risks.
Key Responsibilities
• Work with multiple business units to provide legal advice and support for daily operations, including drafting / reviewing contracts for the acquisition / provision of goods and services including for construction works, consultancies, leases, licences and various port-related activities;
• Monitor developments in legislation, assist with identifying legal and governance risks, assessing impact(s) and advising on management of those risks;
• Provide legal advice associated with projects - structuring, legal risk and risk mitigation, forms of contract etc;
• Prepare tender documentation and participate in tender assessment (including assessment of contract departures);
• Instruct and liaise with external lawyers as required;
• Administer and maintain legal templates and assist with regular policy reviews and updates;
• Develop and provide training on relevant legal / compliance matters as required;
• Assist with company secretarial matters as required; and
• Provide support with the Compliance Risk Management Framework and the Camms Compliance software.
About you
Your skills and experience will include;
• Bachelor of Laws and current practicing certificate (or eligibility to be admitted to Practice in South Australia);
• Understanding and application of contract and corporate / commercial law;
• Excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across business units to communicate complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders;
• Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and influencing skills; and
• Collaborative, enthusiastic and innovative with an achievement oriented mindset and best for business approach.
