The Role As the Cluster General Manager, you will provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to ensure the seamless operation of both voco Brisbane and Hotel Indigo Brisbane City Centre. You are a dynamic and insightful leader who excels in managing diverse teams and driving exceptional guest experiences. Your expertise in operational excellence and financial acumen will be pivotal in achieving our business goals. Responsibilities Lead and inspire the management teams across both properties to deliver outstanding service and operational efficiency. Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance guest satisfaction, revenue growth, and market positioning. Oversee financial performance, ensuring all revenue streams are optimized and accurately reported. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company standards. Be part of and take the lead when required in hotel emergency procedures, together with assisting in ensuring the hotel complies with local government regulations concerning safety, and any other regulatory requirements. Communicate effectively with a variety of people, adapting your communication style as necessary. Skills & Experience Proven experience within a similar role or capacity as General Manager or Hotel Manager, preferably in a cluster operation. Demonstrable experience with hotel PMS such as Opera and POS Simphony. Strong proficiency in Excel and a keen aptitude for working with numbers, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail and advanced budgeting skills. Professional and personable with a can-do attitude. Ability to make calm, collected decisions – even when the clock is ticking. Effective communication skills in spoken and written form. Must hold or obtain a First Aid Certificate and have knowledge of QLD Liquor Licensing. Must meet the appropriate legal requirements to work in Australia.
