We are seeking an experienced High School teacher to join our existing teaching staff in the following highly valued subject areas and year levels (up to 0.8FTE available, depending on subject combination):
Chemistry Year 11-12
Science Year 9 or 10
Christian Living Various
Home group/Community

ABOUT THE ROLE
The successful applicant will be an experienced teacher with a passion for teaching, maximising student engagement, learning, and achievement, and approaching their teaching from a Christian worldview. The successful applicant will teach the required subject/s according to the Australian Curriculum across various secondary year levels. The ability to incorporate a Christian worldview into these subject areas will be highly valued.
QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING
Approved teacher education qualification, registered as a teacher in South Australia.
A current Working with Children Check.
A current RRHAN-EC certificate (Responding to the Risk of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care training).
Protective Practices training (which can be completed prior to commencing employment).
REPORTING / WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
Subject teachers work under the direction of the relevant Faculty Coordinator, in conjunction with College Leadership. The successful applicant will have a vibrant, growing relationship with God and be a committed member of their local church. They will be able to work effectively as part of a team in a collaborative and unified College culture, possessing excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution, and communication skills with staff, students, and parents. They will be teachable, of sound character, and committed to the vision, ethos, and strategic direction of the College.
Applicants will need to demonstrate a sincere commitment to Jesus Christ and the philosophy of Christian Education. Applicants will also demonstrate an active involvement in their local church and align themselves with the College’s core beliefs.
