About the role: The WHS Co-ordinator is a great national role supporting over 1500 employees in branches & offices across Australia where travel will be limited to the Sydney metropolitan area. As WHS Co-ordinator, you will make an impact influencing a safety-first mindset for Rabobank & through your contribution to the uplift & maturity of Rabobank’s WHS framework. You will operate across all areas of WHS - health & safety practices, coordinating injury management, & workers compensation for Rabobank In this role, you will be the first point of contact for WHS advice, expertly triaging issues as they arise from the Safety Management System or Team Inbox. You will deliver tailored projects, processes, & work practices that align with Rabobank's WHS Management System requirements, working closely with the Senior Manager - WHS & various stakeholders. Top Role Accountabilities: Act as a 1st point of contact for WHS advice & triage of issues (often from the Work Health & Safety System or the WHS functional inbox) Uplift & maintain tools such as the WHS company SharePoint page & process documentation Deliver tailored projects, processes & work practices in consultation with stakeholders Provide expert knowledge, advice & coaching across WHS legislation, policies & processes to key stakeholders & support the implementation of WHS solutions to influence better practice WHS performance & regulatory compliance Manage, in collaboration & consultation with the WHS Team the Rabobank Incident & Hazard Reporting system; including the reporting of hazards, incidents, near misses & non-conformances to support executive decision making & enable actions for continuous improvement Review & advise on safety improvement plans & coordinate the development of plans within required timeframes & undertake audits aligned to identify issues & risks Participate as directed in safety incident investigations & ensure that actions are completed & closed out in online reporting system in a timely manner Support the Senior Manager - WHS in analytical reports for Departments, Executives & the Board To be successful you will have: Ideally 2-3 years’ experience in WHS role for a large organisation Completed a WHS qualification such as a Diploma/Certificate IV in Work, Health & Safety An ability to liaise, advise & negotiate effectively with key stakeholders including management, employees, & external providers Excellent verbal, written & interpersonal communication skills Sounds problem solving skills Our Values Rabobank Australia values inclusion, belonging, & positive experiences for all.
