Increased growth in Thermo Fisher Scientific's Biological business has opened a program manager position responsible for leading technical project management at our rapidly growing Brisbane manufacturing facility.
What will you do?
In this role, you will collaborate across functional teams and ensure accountability to detailed project plans and timelines. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to prioritize the team's digital management of key technical project team activities and decisions!
In addition, you will regularly review the technical project team’s progress, timelines, and accountability using project management tools and other related resources and work with site leadership to mitigate any program-related issues, concerns, or challenges proactively to leadership.
You will communicate regularly with business leadership and coordinate the technical team's project results. This rewarding position develops your skills leading technical programs in the advancing area of biopharmaceutical.
How will you get here?
This position requires 2 to 5 years of related experience in Project Management or Bachelor of Science in a relevant subject area is required.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Serve as primary contact for customer projects.
Manage changes of scope by contracting changes to the project as needed.
Coordinate customer visit planning and overall presentation of the site to current customers as needed.
Responsible for internal communications / discussions to drive achievement of project deliverables in accordance with business needs.
Track technical project timelines and results to enable successful transfer of process engineering and process validation projects.
Work efficiently with cross functional teams to ensure on time and in full delivery of product to customer.
Build and modify project management digital tools to improve project tracking and metrics.
Ensure all customer invoices are created and sent in accordance with the contract and Patheon procedures.
Accurately report financial progress on customer projects to leadership.
Perform other duties as assigned.
