About the opportunity We are seeking a highly motivated Working Ganger to be part of and lead a small concrete team within our Civil Asset Maintenance section on a permanent, full-time basis. The team undertakes concrete maintenance and repair works to meet requirements in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner. The successful person will lead, direct and supervise a team of Civil Operations Asset Maintenance staff reporting to them. Qualifications and experience Essential: Extensive experience in concrete works including pit construction and laying of stormwater pipes Civil Asset Maintenance Supervisor Practical experience in supervising labourers, plant operators and sub-contractors Sound knowledge of the functions of road and drainage maintenance activities Experience in operating minor plant Class MR Licence Appropriate WorkCover Certificates and Licences. Remuneration and benefits The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement.
