About the position
Calling all MH Social Workers, Psychologists, MH Nurses and MH Occupational Therapists who are motivated by a social justice, equity of access to MH services ethic and a passion to make a real difference in peoples lives.
Integrated Recovery Services (IRS) is a free, not for-profit, medium-term MH service with a strong focus on person-centered, strengths-based recovery approaches. We support people with complex needs and enduring MH vulnerabilities in their journey to lead a meaningful and satisfying life and to help prevent them from slipping through the cracks of the MH system.
Reporting to the IRS team leader and working collaboratively with a MH peer worker, as a clinician in IRS, you will use your clinical expertise to support participants to create the positive changes they identify as needed. You will also provide clinical care coordination in collaboration with GPs, psychiatrists, the local health district services and other MH organisations.
Although IRS will be the primary focus of this role, you will also be able to vary your work days by working in some of our other programs, such as Next Steps and telehealth.
Based in Goulburn, this position is part time 22.5 hours per week, being fixed term until 30 June 2025.

What you’ll need
We are looking for someone with:
1. Current AHPRA registration as an Aboriginal health worker, psychologist or provisionally registered psychologist, mental health nurse or occupational therapist or accreditation with the AASW as a mental health social worker (or working towards). ACA and PACFA also considered
2. Demonstrated experience in undertaking comprehensive mental health assessments and development of intervention plans in collaboration with consumers and their family and carers
3. Demonstrated skills and experience in providing holistic, evidence-based therapeutic services
4. Have a contemporary attitude and commitment to Mental Health recovery
