The Global Supply Chain Program Directorate in the Industry Engagement Division is seeking a highly motivated APS 4 Project Support Officer to support the growth of Australian Suppliers through exports, by expanding their access into the global supply chains of major Defence companies (Primes). This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of an evolving global Defence Program, which will see you engaging with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, while undertaking diverse tasks. Some duties include:Assist in the development, standardisation and management of a range of project and program activities appropriate to the Global Supply Chain (GSC) Program;Contribute to the process of contract and performance management in accordance with GSC Program procedures and frameworks;Contribute to the processing and tracking of finance and invoicing activities;Use a data and evidence-based approach to assist in the research, drafting and preparation of briefs, correspondence and reports including submissions for higher delegates;Assist with event management, industry engagement and communications with internal and external key stakeholders;Work collaboratively, operate as an effective team member, provide and receive constructive feedback in order to build productive working relationships.About our Team The Global Supply Chain (GSC) Program is a core industry participation program focused on driving exports through the global supply chains of participating Defence contractors (Primes). Our team works closely with senior Defence Leaders, Ministers and Defence industry in delivering outcomes under the GSC Program. In partnership with participating Primes, the GSC Program aims to find, advocate and provide contract opportunities to competitive Australian Suppliers, to enter and persist in the Primes' global supply chains.
