Classification: ANU Officer 5 Salary package: $83,351 - $90,926 per annum plus 17% superannuation Terms: 2 x Full-time, Fixed term (up to 12 months) The Position The Education Support Officers will report to the Education Coordinator. They will be accountable for providing high quality administration support for the coursework programs within the School of Medicine and Psychology (SMP). These roles support academic's teaching within the program and are responsible for scheduling teaching sessions within the SMP coursework programs. These positions will maintain a close working relationship with students, academics and professional staff within the School, the College and the wider University, and manage ongoing stakeholder relationships with academics and clinicians who teach into SMP coursework programs. The Person To excel in this role, you will have experience in Higher Education administration including using student administration systems. You will be someone who is willing to consider new ways of working with an eye to process improvement. Previous experience at ANU will be highly regarded. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, which will enable you to foster respectful and productive working relationships with staff, students and colleagues at all levels within the School of Medicine and Psychology and the wider College of Science and Medicine. The School The School of Medicine and Psychology (SMP) was established in 2023 to bring together expertise from Medicine and Psychology to develop a unique educational and research environment. The focus is to produce psychologists, researchers, and medical graduates who practice compassion, conscience and professional excellence, and with a knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and culture.
