Our Test Analysts will directly contribute to delivering our member digital ecosystem that drives great customer experience and underpins out strategic vision to be a technology enabled bank.
As a Test Analys t, you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity and reliability of payment systems within our bank.
Working closely with the Test Manager, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining manual and functional testing within our Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), defining test scopes and test data for projects relating to Visa & Mastercard payments.
Your day will include identifying manual test cases suitable for automation and reviewing and refining our regression test packs.
This fast-paced role operates in a dynamic banking environment, requiring strong attention to detail and technical expertise in integration technologies and testing approaches.
Key responsibilities include: Test, deploy, monitor and troubleshoot in distributed cloud environments Develop modern object-oriented automation frameworks.
Review and/or produce detailed test plans, test cases and manual or automated test scripts.
Perform manual or automated end to end testing, identifying and reporting defects to the Test Lead/Project Manager.
Identify and automate manual test cases where necessary Review requirements, design and architecture documents and provide feedback to stakeholders on completeness, correctness, traceability and testability.
Develop comprehensive reusable test assets for use in, but not confined to, Unit Testing, System Testing, Systems Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Production Verification Testing (PVT).
Use exploratory testing to enhance the overall testing capabilities.
Provide guidance to project test teams on our test standards, guidelines, related processes, templates and work instructions.
About you You will have at least two years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on payments systems, ideally within a banking environment.
You thrive in fast-paced, dynamic settings, where competing priorities and shifting deadlines are the norm.
Your expertise includes exposure to OSKO, NPP payments, and CUSCAL systems, giving you a solid understanding of real-time payment processing.
You have a keen eye for detail and a structured approach to testing, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
While your core strength lies in manual and functional testing, any experience with test automation will be highly regarded.
Adaptable and proactive, you excel at problem-solving and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive seamless testing processes.
Location Whilst our primary office locations are in Adelaide and Brisbane, we are pleased to be able to consider applications from employees within Australia for this role.
