General Manager - Newcastle Franchise OfficeWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead the Newcastle Franchise Office of Right at Home Australia. This pivotal role encompasses full accountability for the franchise's operations, financial success, clinical services, and legislative compliance. As General Manager, you will drive business excellence while fostering a culture that embodies Right at Home's core values of care, teamwork, and innovation.Key Responsibilities Operational and Financial Leadership Manage franchise operations to ensure compliance with Right at Home systems and standards.Maintain financial accountability, including budgeting, reporting, and using IT systems such as Xero, Visual Care, and SharePoint.Oversee operational performance and implement strategies for sustainable growth.Client Care and Clinical Oversight Ensure the delivery of high-quality care services that meet Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission standards.Collaborate with the Care Manager to oversee Home Care Package (HCP), NDIS, and private-pay clients.Resolve client inquiries with a service-oriented approach.Team Leadership and Staffing Lead, mentor, and inspire the Newcastle team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.Manage staffing levels and ensure adequate resourcing to meet operational needs.Promote professional development and lifelong learning among team members.Compliance and Reporting Adhere to all legislative requirements and Right at Home Master Franchise protocols.Submit timely reports and participate in franchise events, training, and audits as required.Cultural Stewardship Champion Right at Home's values by promoting teamwork, innovation, and service excellence.Cultivate a positive work environment where staff and clients feel valued and supported.Qualifications and Experience Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Nursing, or a related field.Postgraduate qualifications are highly regarded.Skills and Experience Proven experience in a senior management role with financial accountability.Strong understanding of the aged care, disability care, or community in-home care sector.Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and compliance frameworks.Proficient in business management systems, including Xero, Visual Care, and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Experience with SharePoint and other enterprise management tools.Knowledge of continuous quality improvement practices.Key Selection Criteria Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a franchise or similar business unit.Commitment to upholding quality care and fostering a positive workplace culture.Proven capacity to implement HR policies and procedures effectively.Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.Current Australian Federal Police Clearance, valid driver's license, and access to a reliable, insured vehicle.Working Conditions Primarily based in the Newcastle office with occasional intrastate and interstate travel as required.Why Join Us?
