Job Description
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Content Writer plays a key role in creating engaging and compelling content across a variety of channels to optimize and enhance ELMO’s brand and lead generation efforts. They will be responsible for developing and executing an effective content strategy by leveraging their creativity and storytelling ability to create connection and advocacy to the ELMO brand.
1. Write content across a variety of mediums including blogs, video scripts, case studies, as well as search optimized content for the website.
2. Collaborate with the graphic designer to produce visually-compelling content such as eBooks and infographics.
3. Develop creative and informative content for paid and earned media content strategies, leveraging case studies and reports to increase brand awareness and drive prospects to ELMO website.
4. Work alongside Senior Growth Manager to use data to track and optimize quality and conversion of content.
5. Work closely with product, product marketing, and design teams to create stand-out content that resonates with our customers.
6. Write clear, concise, and compelling emails, landing pages, and push copy that aligns with our tone of voice.
7. Optimize copy for search engines (SEO) and paid search (SEM) to improve visibility and drive traffic.
8. Ensure compliance with ELMO’s information security privacy policies and procedures.
Desired Skills and Experience
9. Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business or related field.
10. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong ability to craft compelling messages and stories.
11. Experience in developing and executing successful content creation across multiple channels.
12. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
