About the Role
We are seeking an Electronic Equipment Trades Worker to join our team.
This is a full-time position with 38 hours per week.
Main Responsibilities
1. Examine and test machines, equipment, instruments, and control systems to diagnose faults.
2. Adjust, repair, and replace worn or defective parts, wiring, and components to ensure proper functionality.
3. Reassemble, test operate, and fine-tune equipment for optimal performance.
4. Advise users on correct operating procedures to prevent malfunctions and ensure safe usage.
5. Receive, interpret, and convert coded messages into plain language; write and transmit messages as required.
6. Monitor radio traffic, transmit, and receive voice messages efficiently.
7. Install and configure electronic instruments and control systems to meet operational needs.
8. Apply comprehensive knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic principles to interpret code, compile documented reports, and discuss with supervisors as well as customers.
9. Provide a breakdown service including fault diagnoses, testing, and commissioning.
10. Provide technical support and advice to prevent malfunction to customers through effective communication.
11. Submit paperwork that is presented in a legible and tidy manner.
