This role is responsible for leading the design and implementation of effective and reliable technology solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation at all levels and provide expert guidance while delivering architectural solutions that drive efficiency, innovation, and long term success.What You Will Do Build strong relationships across all business units to understand and translate business requirements into effective technology solutions.Provide expert technical advice, conduct options analyses, evaluate risks and cost benefit considerations for new and existing technology solutions.Develop and maintain architecture artefacts, including standards, guidelines, and design documentation to support technology governance.Ensure all technology systems comply with policies, processes, and standards.Identify, manage, and mitigate technology related risks impacting PAPL business operations.Produce detailed documentation, including solution options, high- and low-level designs, and statements of work.Govern the development of architecture artefacts in alignment with PAPL's Technology Project Management Framework.About YouBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Minimum 5 years of experience in IT and business/industry as a Solution Architect or similar, with expertise in Data, Application, and Infrastructure architecture.Strong ability to document solution options, develop high/low-level designs, and create implementation and test plans.Experience in developing statements of work, requests for proposals, and evaluating tenders.Practical knowledge of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, SABSA, or Zachman.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiences.A collaborative and open approach to working with stakeholders.Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new challenges, and effectively cope with change in a dynamic environment.Strong customer focus, with a proactive approach to identifying needs, exploring solutions, and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.We offer a dynamic and supportive team culture, a contemporary workplace with great facilities and a modern approach to work/life integration.
