Responsibilities and Duties
Installations
Install Rapid Doors, Sectional Doors, Impact Swing Doors, and Strip Screens across all territories. Travel as required for onsite works, including extended stays away from home. Manage and supervise staff and contractors onsite to ensure timely, high-quality installations. Oversee onsite project management, including labor, parts, and materials. Service
Provide technical support and onsite response for service calls, breakdowns, and repairs. Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance on Rapid Doors and other equipment as needed. Attend sites, complete inductions, sign in, and follow all documented service procedures. Ensure accurate reporting and follow-up after maintenance work. Be available for on-call service work as required. Site Assessment
Support the project team with technical expertise and solution design. Conduct pre-site evaluations, including taking measurements, photographs, and providing professional advice for installations and service work. Service Team Support
Assist in service ticket closure, including reports, labor/parts entry, and invoicing. Estimate and quote remedial work for door installations, including follow-ups and sales order creation. Provide technical phone support to clients, technicians, and distributors. SA Operations Support
Support SA operations with:
Unpacking crates and organizing materials. Recycling materials and managing waste disposal. Restocking parts containers and racks. Maintaining service vehicle operational status. Managing site consumables and tools. Production Support
Assist with the assembly and production of all products as required. Follow established work systems and company policies. Housekeeping & Safety Compliance
Maintain cleanliness and organization of production areas and storage spaces. Follow proper lock-up procedures to secure vehicles and workspaces. Ensure full compliance with company health and safety policies and procedures. Required Skills:
Thorough working knowledge of mechanical principles. Working knowledge of electrical systems. Experience in strategic planning and execution. Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management. Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures. Work requires professional verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and travel.
