Projects include a mixture of new build, multistorey commercial, marine works and new greenfield power generation builds.THE ROLEYou will be responsible for the overall management of quality implementation, quality assurance and quality control matters to support Infrastructure upgrades and future nuclear submarine capability. The role will involve working at our Balcatta office and onsite SOR near Rockingham.ResponsibilitiesProvide support, review and monitoring of quality systemsDevelopment of project specific QA/QC documentation and proceduresLiaise with all subcontractors / suppliers to ensure they are in line with Duratec QA/QC standardsQA on products sourced overseas in the deployment of client contractsLiaise with subcontractors, suppliers, project managers and project teams on all quality mattersFormulate, implement and control MDR documentation and ensure up to date reportingDistribution of inspection reports and release certificatesAwareness and compliance (in conjunction with delivery teams) with Building Compliance with Building Codes/Fire/Electrical/ both Federal and StateInvolvement with external QA audits team and maintaining ongoing ISO accreditationsOngoing support with calibration of equipment systemsAssist with support, review and monitoring of teams/systems carrying out field inspections of coatings, weld, fabrication & civil/concrete as part of deliveryMaintain accuracy of reports and materials certificates entryDrive positive QA/QC culture in teams to have quality at font of mind and achieve successful outcomesABOUT YOUExtensive operational experience within a construction/engineering environmentExperience working in a nuclear or radiological construction environmentStrong leadership skillsWorking knowledge of relevant codes, Australian Standards and ISO 19443Understanding of nuclear safety culture and importance to nuclear safety (ITNS)An understanding of Quality Management processesAbility to operate autonomously whilst ensuring project efficiencyAustralian citizenship desirableQualifications & RequirementsWhite CardDegree in project engineering, project management or other relevant disciplinePolice clearance due to projects being on a Defence siteAbility to meet country of origin and security clearance requirementsTHE BENEFITSOngoing rewards & recognition programsAccess to everyday discounts from Australia’s leading retailers with FlarePaid parental leaveSalary sacrifice optionsEmployee Assistance ProgramNovated lease optionsSubmit your resume today and start a conversation with one of our recruiters.
