We specialise in welders, machinery, tools, accessories, and consumables suitable for metal fabrication, mechanical and engineering applications. We are seeking a General Shop Hand and occasional Delivery Driver to work on a part-time basis. The expected hours are 9.30 to 2.30, Monday to Friday.The General Shop Hand will be expected to assist in various areas of the business. Tasks may include:Receiving and handling stockPackaging deliveriesCounting inventoryTidying displaysData entryEmail and phone receptionYou may need to make deliveries using a work vehicle around Canberra and Queanbeyan, so the successful applicant will be required to have a clean manual driver’s licence. The successful applicant will also need to be eligible for a Working with Vulnerable People card if required.M&G is a busy, fast-paced environment and the ideal candidate would be well-mannered, a fast learner, able to receive instruction, and capable of multitasking.
