Job Type: Permanent position | Full time positionJob DescriptionCATCH22 ENTERPRISES PTY LTD require Chefs and Cooks able to work in a busy establishment.Minimum 1-2 years relevant post-qualification commercial cookery experience and demonstrable kitchen supervisor/chef experience is required.Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or above is desirable.English Language Ability, suitable test where required for sponsorship.The role includes:Assisting the head Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations;Supervision of kitchen staff and section Chef;Menu design and costing;Budgeting and stock take;Preparing and cooking food to a benchmark standard for the restaurant;Ensuring that meals are prepared, produced, presented and served to the highest possible standards;Working in accordance with occupational health and safety regulations;Ordering stock under the direction of the head Chef;Checking deliveries as per order sheets;In collaboration with the head Chef and other kitchen staff, contributing to the planning and development of recommendations for improved work procedures;Handling complaints and customer suggestions in a professional manner;Upholding and maintaining correct standards of hygiene and safety;Undertaking training as required;Communicating effectively with the kitchen crew and other members of staff;Any additional duties associated with the kitchen or food production as directed by the Head Chef or management.Full-time positions will be provided with an Annualised Salary based on your relevant qualifications and experience.Chef: $73,000.00 - $75,000.00; Cook: $72,000 - $74,000.00.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent#J-18808-Ljbffr
