The Coordinator will oversee the efficient operation of the School’s sporting facility canteens, coordinating with the Sports and Activities Department and support groups (including volunteer parents). Responsibilities include coordinating a smooth canteen service during events, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene, and managing stock, including ordering and inventory control. This role is crucial for providing a positive experience for patrons and supporting the School’s sports program.Responsibilities of the role include:Develop and maintain menu, inventory and place stock orders to support the operation of the canteen by support groups;Ensure the canteen is operational, including equipment maintenance, health and safety compliance and operational items such as linens;Coordinate with Extra-Curricular Sport to align canteen operations with event schedules, support food safety practices, and build strong relationships with parents, staff members, and suppliers;Maintain accurate records of stock, orders, and support group usage, ensure compliance with food safety records, report on sales and expenditures, manage administrative charges, log maintenance issues, and submit incident reports as needed;Support with P&F functions as required, including mother’s day & father’s day stalls, world teachers day morning tea and School dance stock and operations.The Canteen Coordinator role hours will vary each term, between 2 to 4 days per week, including overtime on Saturdays. The role spans approximately 20 weeks throughout the academic year.
