Join the growing and thriving team at Salter Brothers Hospitality as our Marketing Coordinator. Reporting to our Marketing Manager, as our new Marketing Coordinator you will execute local area marketing activities to achieve the business objectives for Spicers and the Independent Hotels and Restaurants of the Salter Brothers Hospitality portfolio.Salter Brothers Hospitality currently operates 19 retreat hotels and estates; more than 20 restaurants and bars; 8 Spa Anise spas and other wellness facilities; as well as Spicers Scenic Rim Trail, one of the largest ecotourism ventures in Queensland with 38 rooms over five campsites. There are plans for considerable growth in the near future. The role and key duties; Coordinate and deliver local area marketing activities for our Retreats and Hotels, including events marketing and working with the Graphic Designer to create property-specific collateralParticipate in regular meetings with General Managers, maintaining positive working relationships with GMs and other on-property stakeholdersEnsure marketing activities are carried out effectively and on scheduleEnsure local area activities are integrated with all other marketing activity to ensure consistent messaging and communicationAssist in the execution of marketing campaignsBe responsive to ad hoc request from General Managers in alignment with the marketing strategyWork closely with the team to balance a range of competing priorities in a fast-paced changing environmentOnboard new properties to our way of working and ensure a smooth handoverWork with the Marketing Manager to regularly report on local area marketing activitiesSupport the Marketing team with monthly reporting and any administrative requestsEssential criteria required to be considered; Marketing degree or similar is essential Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a Marketing role Experience in the Hotel / hospitality industry is desirable either in a marketing or operational capacitWorking knowledge of content management systemsWorking knowledge of SEO/SEM, Google Analytics, Meta and CRM SoftwareAbility to manage multiple priorities Strong writing skills and the ability to write copy for a range of marketing channelsAbility to manage competing priorities, work with multiple stakeholder and meet deadlinesDetail-oriented and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentTo apply online, please click on the apply button.For a confidential discussion please contact Emma Martin our Talent Acquisition Manager on (email protected)
